Down to the Harbor — Songs from Plato’s Republic, Book I
It’s a folk-jazz songbook based on Book I of Plato’s Republic, following the dialogue from Socrates going down to the Piraeus through the unresolved question of justice.
This is a personal creative experiment rather than an official DCMission project. It is not meant as a substitute for reading Plato, but as a kind of musical memory-palace or set of chapter markers for anyone interested in the text.
